[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This cricket was hiding in a rose when I was shooting photos in the garden this morning. At first I was photographing the dew drops on the grass and when I turned around to shoot some photo's of the dew covered rose I stumbled on this bright green cricket.
He scared me a bit at first, as I hadn't expected him there. I remember that I mumbled 'woaw' and started to take loads of photo's of this little creature.
I was at the right place at the right time, just lucky really, encountering this green insect.

I took so many shots that it took a while to pick one I liked most. This is the one ^-^
I did some desaturation and resizing for treklens, nothing more :D

I hope you like it ^-^
Regards Fleury

Hi Fleur,
Much more intriguing to have an insect hiding, but I can still see it's a cricket.
Lovely colour on the rose - great capture.
Isn't it fun to be able to take loads of picture. Ik moet er wel nog aan wennen als je jarenlang zuinig bent geweest met het maken van opnames leer je dat niet zomaar af.
Veel plezier en
TFS
Els
