[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ian is my nephew. He is from Canada and was visiting his family with his father. He was tired from the flight and from playing with his family. This pose is typical for him (and his father, as you will see tomorrow).

Mooi kinder portret.
Goede pose
Goede DOF
Wat moet je meer zeggen als het goed is?

I'll post an alternative for you tomorrow as a 'workshop'. It's all to do with crop, sharpen, a little saturation and framing, which should all add up to a far stronger image. When you see, you should understand. I will outline the reasons in the workshop detail.
Caught an excellent pose. It is almost sharp enough (Are you using an LCD screen?) and the b/g is suitably very blurred. Almost there.

Hello Willem,

Great portrait, nice captured. Wonderful bokeh, fine posed too.
Thanks.

HI Willem! beautiful decisive moment shot! the kid is so cute:)
congratulations!

Willem,
Great DOF. I notice that in most of your pictures you capture the subject in great clarity and let the background go soft. I think it is the best way to keep people focused on the subject. I suppose that is the definition of DOF.
Keep shooting,
Aaron
