You can’t hide…

When some one tells me he saw someone hiding in a tree, I would look up into the tree and won’t expect someone trying to puts his face into the tree. Well this is a picture taken in Twente, in a large garden which also had a exhibition of modern art sculptures. There were five tree with these hiding "persons", putting their head into the trunk.

The sculpture exhibition you can visit in the gardens of the museum and farm De Wendezoele in the region Twente near the town of Delden. See also Map:[view].

Well it’s just for fun, hope you like it.

Hello Hans!

Nice hilarious shot! Well done! TFS.

De kunst van fotograferen bestaat ook uit de leuke en aparte dingen die je tegenkomt en dan mag vastleggen.
Deze vind ik heel erg leuk

I realize it's just for fun and I must admit it's an interesting Statue. Somehow it reminds me of a Ostrich sticking it's head in the sand LOL.

Greetings from Poland,
Pawel

Great PoV on this unusual sculpture, Hans. If that state is really hard against the tree, the tree will eventually grow around it and then it really will have its face INSIDE the trunk!
Great details, fine composition

Hello Hans,
A unique and fun photo here. Excellent details captured. TFS Julie

This would make a good publicity poster for the exhibition, Hans. No overexposure on the white statue and the colours all realistic - well controlled and interesting shot!

There seems to be a lot of Public art in the Netherlands and I enjoy photographing it,thanks for pointing this location out. This is an excellent capture of an aesthetically pleasing piece of art. I like the composition and the textures you have shown here, love the angle too.

He should have shut his eyes, then we wouldn't have been able to see him!!!

Strange fellow to have lurking in your garden Hansie... My cat does this - she thinks we can't see her too.
