We are back.. BUT I Wish I was still "stuck" in St. Maarten..

No complaints about the flights or weather...

I found this rusted ?? hook while trying to get close to a pelican.. (to be posted tomorrow) last week...

I forgot my camera's computer connection cord so I was limited to 350 photos.. It was very hard which ones to keep....

PP work.. not much a crop a little sharp and a little adjustment of levels..

LOVE this one Tricia! So sorry you were limited to only 350??? insanity! HAHA! Really nice, wonderful rustic tones, really very wonderful! Take me next time, I have a 4GB... I can get about 1000 photos on mine! That should do it eh??
B-)
Linda

Excellent capture.
Excellent sharpness and details.
You should invest in a few memory cards. They are pretty cheap these days.
I have 2 1GB cards for the Kodak and 1 4GB for the Sony.
And don't forget a few spare batteries for each.

Hi Tricia,
How was your holiday in "the Netherlands":-) Nice close up although Iin my opinion the frame is a bit óver done'and distracts me. Nevertheless the idea is great and so is the picture itself!
Hans

Hello Tricia, good shot of one of my favourite subjects...rust.
The wet look enhances the colours.Good contrasts with the rocks textures.
I have to agree with Hans, the frame seems a bit 'heavy' for the picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hello Tricia,
The rusty detail looks great on the rocky background!
I don't know why but I find the colour of rust in sunlight to be quite irresistible...
The texture of the stones makes a fine supplement to the main subject!
Greetings,

Hi Tricia,

Great to have you back - those pelicans are not easy to capture, I spend some time trying - will mail you the result of my efforts.

While swimming they are quite happy to dive in right next to you when fishing for their morning meal, however getting a good shot is quite a different matter.

Don't ever forget that cord again!!

Lovely colour on the rocks and the rust.

Hope you feel well and rested and tanned.
