[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
First I couldn't find them. Then I saw them on the way back to pont were the nest is. For the little ones this must have been a world trip. Here you see them crossing a street. First the male checks if it is safe, the mother cecks if the group is complete, Then a signal and they start crossing the street.

I made a special newspaper on Internet to inform the children of the schools in the neighbourhood about the devellopment of the swans and nature of the pont.

Hello Hendrik,

This must have been like a military operation!
The parents sound to be very experienced, with an awareness of the dangers!
You have composed the shot well, the birds on a diagonal across the frame.
Excellent textures and shadows.

All of your "Street Art Animals" are great!! Such an interesting theme. Your gallery has given me a smile this morning. I like the composition in this one, and the detail is very good. They do look like they own the road :) The babies are adorable. TFS

This is sooooooo cool Hendrik!
What a magnificent view! Apart from the composition, colors and sharpness the whole "story" that is told by this image is absolutely great.

Hello Hendrick,
Your picture trows me off balance. Strange way to say it is not only charming but also... I don't find the words. Massive swans on the left half and lots of birdies on the right, give me the funny feeling the image will swing to the left and start rotating. The details and shadows are crisp. I like it much and your note is interesting.
P.S. I turned my points off.

Hi Hendrik,
Wow, what a cute capture of the swans and their little cygnets. Very well captured moment with excellent white balance, sharpness and brightness on the whole picture. I'm not really sure about the thick white borders for this composition, because white dominates the photo anyway. But this is just a minor personal opinion, overall this image is great! TFS.
