[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was getting dark when i capture this shot during our visit to NETHERLANDS.
This is one of the canals which is considered as one of the major attractions in AMSTERDAM, also called "Venice of North" and the waterways Amsterdam is known for all over the world.
Amsterdam is an old harbor city built deep inside the big bay at the mouth of the river Amstel. For centuries, the 100 kilometers long Amsterdam canals, from the vital blood line of the city,far more important than its streets. Boats & smaller ships were able to enter the centre the city to transport the merchandises from all over the world.
Today, the canals are crowded by tourist boats, because to understand Amdsterdam and your visit will not complete if you don't take one the of the canal cruises which is a good way to get the first impression of Amsterdam. And a canal cruise is a must to explore and discover Amsterdam.

Hello Grace.
I enjoy viewing the pictures from Amsterdam. Ii is on my wish list of the places to visit.
This photo is not so good as your previous ones. No, it is not bad, it just needs some PP. Colours are dull and the bottom part of the picture is to large. I tried to do a workshop to present you my ideas.

Hello Grace,
You have written some useful notes here promoting Amsterdam.
The composition of this shot is very good. The canal and the street take care of the perspective, Those colorful boats and bicycles are trademark of Amsterdam and make very good subjects here.

A slight UE can be easily corrected in PP like the workshop given here.

Keep shooting as you have talents for perspective and you can always tell good composition. My first post in TE was taken by my handphone camera. What is important, I believe, is the person behind it.
