Hi Marga,
Amsterdam is the number one place on my list to go travelling, can't wait until I get to go one day. But for the meantime I can sit here and enjoy your photo :). Nice POV, the subtle reflections on the water look great. Good sharpness and exposure too against the pastel coloured buildings, the vertical crop was an excellent idea. Looks like a peaceful spot to sit and each lunch - Well captured.

I have to say this is one of the best photos which I have already seen on Treklens. You did the best. The composition, cadre and light are completely acceptable. I read your note about it and I found it perfect. I give it useful mark.

Hi Marga,
This looks like a painting. The colors look a bit muted, but one could argue that it is better that way.

Just wonderful!
That incredible Dutch light, those lovely soft colors, beautifully muted. What I particularly like, though, is the curve of the waterway and those rippled reflections. Nice framing to the left and I love how the light catches that one side so perfectly. Great in a vertical format, too. This is just a fabulous shot. Many thanks and kindest wishes,

Mooi standpunt gekozen Marga. Eerst vond ik hem een beetje bleekjes maar hoe langer je kijkt hoe mooier ie wordt. Er zit genoeg kleur in. De lengtecrop en het frame passen er goed bij.

Heel raar maar op 1 of andere manier worden fotoos uit Amsterdam altijd gemeden door TL,terwij het zulke mooie beelden kan opleveren.

Alles is denk ik al gezegd,maar ook ik vind deze opname erg mooi. Vooral de vele kleuren. Maar ook de compositie, gewoon een erg goeie foto.

I like the water reflections ( so artistic ).
The perspective of the buildings are very clever in pov.
