[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Howdy folks,

After having a lovely, sometimes hot, summer we have a most wonderful sunny and warm autumn now...
Rob and I had some business in Amsterdam today and ofcourse I don't travel without my camera...
After walking a few streets and some "shopping" we ended up for a rest on along one the river Amstel, the river that gave Amsterdam it's name...
Isn't it a beautiful place???
The view here was absolutely great, I loved the sky and the colors of the buildings... and ofcourse the house boats!

I only added a bit of a soft glow to emphasize the dreamy mood of a warm autumn afternoon in the city...

Prchtge opname van een stad waar je niet itgekeken raakt en als fotograaf je hart kan ophalen.
Soms trek ik er wel eens een dag voor uit.
Mooie en sterke compositie.

Mooie opname van een prachtplek aan de Amstel, wat is Amsterdam toch heerlijk ( voor af en toe een dag)
Mooie compositie en mooi meegenomen vind ik de wolkjes aan de hemel.

Hello Anneke,

It rekindles distant memories of my one and only visit to Amsterdam which was on such a day as this and totally enjoyable.
Nice positioning of the boat and jetty to act as a starting point to discover the rest of the scene.
The lack of people and the gently lapping water, gives a very relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.
