Great shot in a nice and terrible pose! I like the way you took this picture. There are some noises on the background and the light on the right Lion's feelers seems over.

A good close up zoom on the lion with effective tight framing & good sharpness & color. The shallow dof works well here. Those teeth look sharp! Tfs!

Your are right Mr. GB., she does look like she was ready to eat you. (yawning is not quite so exciting). I love this one as well. I think wild cats are truly beautiful and regal. You have done a top notch job of capturing her and of course your presentation is perfect as always. Truly stunning capture. The details are really special.

Nog even en je kunt een natuurstripverhaal van al deze mooie foto's maken! De 2 leeuwen naast elkaar -> deze foto van de boze leeuwin -> de beteuterde blik van de man -> en dan een foto van het 'gevaar'? :-)
Erg mooie serie.

Ik ben lang aan het twijfelen geweest
( en infeite nog )
welke van de twee ( deze of King ) ik nu het mooiste vind.
'k Ga voor deze omwille van de uitdrukking.
Zou zo over die haar bol willen aaien en met m'n
vingers eens door haar pels gaan :-)
Op het dagmenu " Vlaamsche Jan op Nederlandsche wijze "

Wat er mis is ? Pfff ...
Nu ga ik echt voor de " spijkers op laag water " Hans.
( omdat je er zo lief om vraagt :-) )

Wel, ik zou een heel klein beetje vals spelen
door haar ogen en tong iets (!!!) te verhelderen.
De pels onder haar linkeroor is wat OE, dus dat wat milderen.
Die witte " bieters " ( tanden ) die zou 'k proberen
om iets te verscherpen.

Maar om eerlijk te zijn betwijfel of IK het zou doen.

wonderful candid portrait shot of this lioness Hans, Dof is wel seen, the colors are perfectly natural, a bit of blur only i see but it is minimal, overall a great shot.
