Thousands of kilometers separate us but we can admire the same birds close to our house!
This close-up on the gannet looks very natural!
Perfect colors and details on the plumage. It is not easy to see a solitair! They are so gregarious.

Nice portrait, Hans... the eye is razor sharp, details on its beak clearly visible, also on the plumage which is a bit tricky to capture, as white as it is...
I think the background is a bit noisy, though. Due to hi ISO, or to downsizing/jpg compression, I wonder?
Anyway, it's a very nice teaser!

Hoi Hans,

Mooie scherpe close-up! Het is vandaag weer beter weer voor de bloembollen velden! Lekker zonnetje, maar ik heb helaas andere dingen te doen en de bloembollen velden liggen toch wat verder weg van Eindhoven. ;-)
