[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
on my way to the office 4

Today a new moody picture of a small village on my way to the office. The village is well- known from puzzles in Holland. The name starts with the first 3 letters of the alphabet. “Abcoude” All photos so far are taken in the mooring with the following in mind. A new day, ideas and possibilities. Just before my vacation starts I will publish an abstract impression of the office. Then you will know

The photos are taken during the daily trip to and from the office. Driving form the suburb of Amsterdam to the “green hart of Holland Woerden” A part of the trip is in an area where “Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn” Lived and worked.
I adore the way he was able to show us light. In the old photo books the call photography painting with light. I try to find the places and photograph 400 years later the sites in that area. Not that I think I am Rembrandt but just as hobby.

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (b. July 15, 1606, Leiden, Neth.--d. Oct. 4, 1669, Amsterdam), Dutch painter, draftsman, and etcher of the 17th century, a giant in the history of art. His paintings are characterized by luxuriant brushwork, rich colour, and a mastery of chiaroscuro.

Ruud, you are almost creating a photograph style here. Again very good picture!
P.S. I notice some noise in the sky. I would suggest a tool which you cab download free from Internet, it is called Neat Image.
Sometimes it does wonders

Another stunning image - you should go to that office more often :). The sky is great the mist as before enchanting and i love the way the sun is playfully hididng in the tree.

I have an old MX which I love but have never managed to use it to this effect.

The light of the sun makes the picture very mysterious. I guess you are very lucky that you can see all these wonderful things going for the office. :)

Ah, the peace, the serenity, the soft, gentle colors, and lighting. The silhouettes of the trees and church spire give me the feeling of the masters of early days. A very wonderful, and beautiful shot. One of my favorites.
