Deze is erg fraai. Mooi gekadert tussen de twee met rijp behangen bomen. Mooi strijklicht op de brug en gebouw links. Compositie is goed. Wellicht iets meer kleursaturatie maar das persoonlijk.

Well I will be quite honest I dont mind teh cold if it gives a beautiful view like this one. What a stunning scene. So sharp with excellent depth and superb colours too. Superb shot here Anne with lovely contrasting black framing too.

Hello Anneke,

The combination of early morning sun, blue sky and hoar frost is a magical mixture! Excellent composition with the little slope leading the eyes towards the arched and shadowy bridge taking up a third whilst the silvery trees and sky take up the other two thirds.
The trees make a good natural frame whilst the building adds balance.

Hey Anneke,

Hebben we een paar weken lekker zomerweer en dan ga jij winter-foto's plaatsen :-). Dit is prachtig. Ik ken Hoorn eigenlijk helemaal niet. Ligt het dicht bij Kampen?! Daar ben ik over een paar weken. Als het in de buurt is zal ik de camera eens mee nemen.

Yeah, I remember that morning in the Netherlands!
Not that I was there, but my guess is there was never taken more images on any December day ever... and seeing this flashback it is easy to understand why!
A wonderful atmosphere created by the combination of frozen vegetation and amazing light!
