This "Awakening" is a delight!
What a great rendering of this foggy landscape! All things are subtly done here, colors, light, silhouettes... I love this ambiance. Bravo! Annie

Ik ben het met je eens dat er hier op TL wat meer leven in de brouwerij moet komen.
Met eerlijke meningen en opmerkingen, want daardoor kunnen we van elkaar leren.
Misschien is het met deze foto je bedoeling iets uit te lokken, maar ik vind 'm saai en er is weinig kontrast.
Zo'n mening wordt snel beschouwd als kritiek,maar dat is het nou net niet. Wat mij betreft is het een eerlijke mening en ik kan het glad verkeerd hebben. Als dat zo is krijg ik graag weerwoord, want daar leren we allemaal weer van en zijn we af van het "mooi, super,geweldig "dat soort opmerkingen.

A shame to see you leave for a bit Jan
You know how to handle the light, composition and POV in your captures, but refresh and show us more brilliant shots when your ready. Love the soft warm tones here and fog produces a beautiful mood.

Hello Jan,
Very nice, soft and colorful picture. I think that your emotional level is at a peak because you forgot to mention the picture in your note.

I have been a member for just 6 months and I think that freedom is not the question.

Rather RESPECT.

Some good membres have left and new have come. If you do not see that some of those new members deserve your experience and teachings, it is a shame.

Very nice job anyway. It reminds me of my youth....

Je hebt het prima verwoord Jan.
Deze foto geeft wel ongeveer de huidige atmosfeer aan die op TL heerst: donker.......een beetje mistig.......maar gezien de fraaie warme ochtendkleuren gloort er ook een beetje hoop.....: hoop op een warmere sfeer op TL en op betere verhoudingen tussen de leden.
Maar misschien heb ik het wel helemaal mis en gaat het in de ogen van anderen voortreffelijk hier.......

Een prachtig sfeertje Jan... Heel mooi en zo typisch Hollands.
Misschien zou ik zelf deze foto iets lichter gehouden hebben, maar dat is een kwestie van persoonlijke smaak.
Het licht komt zo mooi links de foto binnen.... echt een prachtige plaat.

Hoi Jan,
Een heerlijke sfeer foto waarin de mist en het vroege licht de foto mooi maakt. De positie van de kerk is prachtig. Wel vind ik dat alles te veel centraal staat op de horizontale lijn.

P.S. Ik begrijp je frustratie maar voor een deel. Er zijn nog genoeg goede fotografen op TL. Het zijn alleen niet dezelfde van toen. Gewoon even verder kijken.

I have been on the site for just over a year now and have learned a great deal from people like you willing to share their experience.
Very well composed shot of this scene, I like the graduated red colours of the sky through the mist and the atmosphere of this shot.

Ben het niet met Sande eens. Inderdaad, niet veel contrast, maar ja, dat héb je nou eenmaal met mist. :-)
Ik vind nou juist de kleuren van de zon prachtig. En dan die kerk in de achtergrond, de grazende beestjes. Erg mooi !
Ben het met je note eens en voel me precies zo.
