Good Morning Hans,

The thumbnail was sufficient to highlight the lovely compositon whilst the full size shot improves on the sharp focus and the delightful details.
You are right; the light is good and with the filter has given depth to the blue in the water. The reflections have a movement-giving, twinkling quality.
All the images are well placed in the frame.

Hi Hans, I haven't yet visited Holland, but hope to one day. As a kid learning about far away places, your photo encapsulates the vision of Holland, with the beautifull and well maintained windmills. Good composition and presentation. TFS. Murray.

Windmill, blue boat and kayaker, what an unusual and interesting capture. The contrast between the old and new is well depicted. Very sharp with nice reflections and good skies from the CP filter. TFS

Hoi Hans,
Ja, weer thuis. Leuk om deze foto nu ook op m'n eigen scherm te zien. Ik kan je zeker aanbevelen een calibratie tool te kopen. De kleuren op jou scherm zijn veel harder. Dat bootje in die andere foto zit dus wel goed.
Ik heb een super tijd gehad en zal spoedig een van mijn foto's uploaden.
De helderheid en scherpte van deze foto zijn perfect. En, je timing was super. Ik was er te laat voor.

Peaceful scene with very natural colors. Excellent work with the polarizer.The blue and white are perfect! The composition is very well balanced with a effective use of thirds rule.You did well with the metering freezing the motion of rowing. Bravo! Annie

A wonderful sport ideally captured. I like the mood you have captured here Hans.The composition is strong, I think due to the low horizon & that lovely clear sky as well as those three great subjects ,the windmill, the blue boat & the lone rower. I'm not sure if I would have waited just a couple of second so that the rower was a tad more to the right.Have done a WS to show what I mean The PP work is not as good as yours I'm afraid,but you'll get my meaning.

Je ne connais pas la Hollande ou plutôt je la connais surtout par les peintres qu'on rencontre dans les musées.Cette photo , bien cadrée , nette et aux jolies couleurs me semble bien traduire cette atmosphère d'autrefois, avec en prime cette petite pointe anachronique du rameur sur un esquif ultra-léger.
