Tonight I am having a farewell dinner with all my colleagues and then ... well, who knows!

I just cannot believe that you have chosen this beautiful flower! I lost the ones I have had for many years and have been trying to locate a replacement at the local nurseries. My friend will be bringing one for me on Friday!
They are such pretty flowers and attract unusual butterflies!

Een heel mooie macro, Els. Insect en bloem hebben een heel goede scherpte, de velddiepte is groot genoeg om ook dat spinneweb weer te geven (al is dat in de versie met frame, wegens weer wat kleiner, veel minder goed te zien). Rose op bruin vind ik nu niet zo'n denderende kleurencombinatie, maar door gebrek aan detail in die bruine massa valt het wel mee.
Ik zou links en van boven meer croppen, nu heb je een hoop lege ruimte die niets bijdraagt aan de foto; de regel van derden is niet altijd doorslaggevend hoor, bovendien zou je zo de tweede blauwe onscherpe bloem linksbeneden vermijden want dat kleurcontrast leidt toch wel wat de aandacht af naar mijn gevoel... Ik zal eens kijken wat dat geeft en stuur het wel per mail.

Tot slot nog dit; dit is best een leuke bloem, maar ik had liever een grote versie van je avatar gezien... Ik ben er nu namelijk wel aan gewend, naar de dames kijken met een glas in de hand ☺^☺.
