...carrying along a purple frisbee ☺^☺.

Weather had been very dull, cold and wet during the last couple of weeks. So when the forecast for last Friday was looking great, we took the day off and went to the beach.

As I hate sand, I'm not too keen of the beach, but when I see Dingo's having a great time I'm pleased anyway.

Sorry folks, 29 pics without Dingo was way too much, so here he is again.

Will be back later on today for critiquing; my old laptop screen is not really suitable for judging pictures...
Tech talk

In camera compo. After I processed the picture I noticed the bright roller on top, and now I'm thinking I should have cropped that off. What do you think?

Adjustment layers for levels and curves, minor adjustments though.

Downsized for tl, framed & signed.

Hi Frank,
nice photo! a doggie having fun, all wet through but very happy!
the photo is very dynamic :)
As for the roller at the top of the photo, perhaps it distracts attention a bit from the dog. I'm not sure it's better to crop the photo. Perhaps you can clone it out and see what will come of it?
best regards,
Elena

nice shot.good sharpness, good composition.

Okay Frank,

No cropping of waves, it provides the picture with even more depth.
Nice touch to have that purple frisbee in the picture. Dingo seems indeed to enjoy himself big time - so sorry to hear you don't really like the beach, it's great to feel sand between your toes and teeth ^-^ - didn't you go for a swimm yourself then? I miss that info in your note.

Hello Frank,
great shot of Dingo. He is definately enjoying himself.
I like how the purple frisbee adds such a dynamic quality.
The wave adds to the DOF;and I am not too bothered by it.
Have a good weekend,
Joni

Hi Frank,

Nice photo of the dog having fun. I like the motion of the wave, the wet fur of the dog, and the purple frisbee. I like that you included only the water as your background. It really makes me think I'm right there.

I like the rocky beaches.... during the off season when it's cool.

Enjoy your Sunday, Lisa

Pools are for people, oceans are for fish, that's my motto. :o)
Good capture here, i like the action, framing and overall composition here.
I had a dog that loved to play frisbee as well as run in the water, pool or beach or mud puddle, didn't matter much to him, so thanks for the view as well as the memories.

Als ze spreken over een " verzopen kieken " ... :-)

Verkeerd gedacht ... >:-p

Hoi Frank,
Glad to see Dingo again :-)
Great shot, although I've the impression he isn't to happy with the situation with his ears flat an the tail down of the heavy water ;'-) But I'm sure Dingo is, might be my misinterpretation...
Anyway what to say more than a great picture of Dingo retriving the precious frishbee :-)
Enjoy your posting here Frank!
Hans

He is your game partner.

As always, a great portrait of Dingo - this time in action. Nice splash of blue too.

Not quite the exit as in the James Bond movie!!
But this is DINGO at the beach, and what fun he is having too Frank. (BTW - leave the wave in) He looks drenched, but has a tight hold on that purple frizbee.
So good to see my friend again
Cheers
Janice

Can't help but comment on a dog picture - good composition, nice sharp details and well saturated colours. The white area is a bit distracting but not overly so - personally I'd clone it out rather than crop as I like the proportions of the picture.
And as for the title, its definately one to raise a smile.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
