[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking down from the dike on the island Tholen I saw this scene. The farmer picked up two "vogelverschrikkers", (scarecrows) those sculptures to make birds afraid and prevent them picking the seeds.
The rest of the story is that he came to me asking what I would do with the picture. He thought I was from the local authorities of tax control checking "black labour". He told me he was 67 and just supporting his children a bit.
So don't tell it anybody!

Hallo Hendrik. Ook bij jouw net als bij Huub brengen de lente kriebels jullie in de stemming voor wat vrolijke foto's.
Daarnaast is het ook nog een geweldige compositie.
Ik hou van de kleuren.

I'll keep it secret Hendrik ;) but i can't keep my promise to tell you that you have a great capture here ;D Simple but unique. Quite interested the light & shadow on the ground, gave good sense of space / distance with the old man. Is that shad of the cloud you have here? Suprisingly horizontal line. Impressive & very well done with frame.

Wat een mooie foto. Heerlijk om een boer in z'n dagelijks werk te zien. Ook een perfecte compositie met een mooie lichtbalk op de achtergrond. Zeker een teken aan de wand dat de lente komt, want de volgens zijn terug in het land.
