[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello dear TL-friends!

Some time ago on the campsite of my son I found a nest with 4 eggs of an oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus).
That nest was next to a tree (see map).

All the guests were very nice and walked around the nest with a bow.

If I had to mow the grass the bird was away; when I was ready, he/she returned and continued to breed.

Some time later there were 4 oystercatcher babies. Their parents took them to a field next to the site, because there were quite a lot of people walking around.
I think they were right, don't you.....?

Hoi Adri,
A striking composition Adri, well observed and presented. The bird is well hidden, but you caught it. The brightness and contrast are quite well exposed. Sharpness of the oystercatcher's eye and beak are perfect. The presentation in the large black frame enhance the image.

Die legt er mooi bij, zal ik maar zeggen.
Prachtig scherp op de voorgrond.
Snap alleen niet wat er met de lucht aan de hand is.
Was je zoon soms aan het gras maaien tegen de wind in ?
Ondanks zijn grote bek, houd ie hem mooi dicht.
Zouden meer mensen moeten doen, toch ?

Nice photo, we have these birds here too. I once got a photo of about 600 of them at the beach across the road from my place. Anyway, good capture of this one. The composition is great, same with the colours and clarity. There is some noise at the top of the frame but it's nothing too serious.
