Hello dear TL-friends,
Today I visited The Airtour at the airport Midden-Zeeland in my province.
There were shown several aircrafts from our rich aviation history as this replica of the famous "Uiver".
This is a Douglas DC-2.
The first of the DC-2 of the Royal Dutch Arlines KLM PH-AJU "Uiver" was world famous by winning the handicap classification of the air race between London and Melbourne in 1934.
In the overall ranking the Uiver was second.
Before the end of the same year 1934 the original Uiver crashed in the Syrian desert.
Greetings from Zeeland, Netherlands,
Adri |

Hi Adri,
Spot on! Excellent sharp image of the DC-2. Nice to see it got enough space in front to fly to. Nice bright and clear picture, the fluffy clouds are a wonderful detail. Well framed, top notch shot!

Hi Adri,
Beautiful shot of the Douglas, the image is crisp and the colours are brilliant the slight blur in the cloud behind and the rotating props give a sense of movement The only distraction is the two darker blue dots to the front/below the aircraft, you may need your sensor cleaned. Cheers
Bri
Hi Adri,
This looks excellent! Perfect composition and sharpness, it really stands out well against the blue sky - the clouds are a nice bonus too. Well cropped, it also looks nicely frozen due to your semi-fast shutter speed. Very good use of the zoom.
TFS,
Scott.
hi adri
well caught you got some of the few clouds in your image.good sharpness and colour, well framed
regards
jimmy
Hello Adri
Very sharp capture of the aircraft, great prop blur on both engines. The clouds are a real bonus and make a great backdrop.
Regards, Leslie
