It may be cloudy, but that's part of what makes it such a nice shot. It's got such a great mood with the dark, rolling clouds. Beautifully composed too, and you're managed not to lose detail on the windmill, even thought the light is coming from behind. Very nicely done!

It is a beautiful shot, I could feel the sadness and the disappointment from this picture for "waiting for wind..."
This picture is very clear and show the detail of everything, the BG also so dramatic makes this pictures alive...

It is really eyecatching with its unique perspective created by the two mills in the side line. Excellent sharp details, a well balanced 2/3 frame and dull colors that remind of the 19th century painters

Dan bedoel ik deze foto, Adri.
'Schitterend' is ook wel een goede interpretatie.
Maar aan de andere kant, WIND more than enought last night.!
Not to mention STORM.!
Dus ik hoop dat de wieken er nog aan zitten, Ik ben vannacht uit bed gegaan om te kijken of er geen dakpannen af gewaaid waren.
Arme swanen die nu al hier op hun (haar) eerste misschien wel tweede ei zitten, volkomen onbeschermd omdat het riet nog niet groeid.
Heb er zondag foto's van gemaakt.

A wonderful scenery of the windmill and the Dutch landscape. Bike ride of 45km? I hope that is a motorbike and not bicycle. Very pleasant to see such a lovely scene. Good pp work effect.

Hier laat je zien dat je niet perse de zon achter je moet hebben om te slagen in een landschap Adri,die grijze lucht ziet er goed uit.
Onder deze omstandigheden zou ik doorfietsen,
maar jij hebt het toch uitstekend aangepakt,een mooi beeld.

Nice composition with the water leading the eyes to the windmills, and where you see an unfortunate cloudy sky I see some nice drama and contrast for the land.

Practige plaat waarin je het Hollandse landschap perfect laat uitkomen. Perfecte compositie met de molens en de dramatische lucht. Mooie natuurlijke kleuren, echt een heerlijke foto!

windmill, beautiful subject captured nicely with good contrast and colors.. the mood is dark and gloomy but very effective and it portrayed the title perfectly...I love the clouds and their grey reflection on the river.. attractive composition..
