Again..just Holland part three...
and the last for now ..
What do we see?
A tipical example of higher situated water .. a small dyke to protect the lower 'polder' behind the Dyke!

After my previous shots about lakes and Polders .. this photo here is in the same mood as the 2 ones
I posted before .
Taken on a day off sailing with friends over the 'Kaag'.. lake in the Province of Zuid Holland.

Tomorrow I do a photo in honor of my friend *Lucbus* in Tl and his real name is Luc Bussieres
Yesterday Luc showed us a photo of his lovely
fiance; Michelle-Line (Mimi) making a phone call to me Click here

Michele-Line and Luc plus *Perryhooter*Martine and Robert and *Photograph2u*..Yan became close friends after we all met in Montreal during Xmas time.

Thanks for popping in and try to see my winterphoto tomorrow for Luc Folks !
Thanks and regards from Holland
John T.

Hi John,

Another beauty my friend, I like the way you have the sky blended in with the frame here. A good contrasting shot with the blues and the greens. V nice!

John

Very nice landscape but I can't help but feel that the blue border detracts from the deep blue sky. Also would like to see some higher resolutions

Hello John,
beautiful photo, nice blue colour of sky.
But...on my sight, too much of chemical blue on the frame's edges :-) I would prefer to keep my attention on the sky :-)
Well done landscape and TFS,
Elena

Hi John, lovely simple shot, but I prefer Black or White frames, this frame seems a little distracting.
Back to the picture, simply composed, nice colours and as you say a typical dutch scene.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Beautiful landscapes you have there!
The water just seem to move. And I almost feel the breeze... ;)
I do think that the blue of the frame must be just a little diminished.
TFS,
Bebe

Wonderful colors and notes. Rushing to watch a movie with Steve...sorry about the short note!
Huggzzz,
Fran

Hello John!

Did you stitch photos here as well? It seems to me a bit out of focus. The DOF seems narrow too.

I wonder what you have told Michelle-Line lately. Her smile is intriguing.... (LOL!)
I am now on MSN Messenger too. Web cam not yet in service. Hopefully later this week. I will keep you posted.
Cheers!
Robert

That is a dike?? Not what I had imagined at all. Hmmm, I'm learning stuff here. By the way, I was just kidding about the Dutch not wearing hats. Do people really say that? I'd never heard it, but it seemed logical with all the talk about wind.

Take care,
Gayle :)

The colors of this photograph are very good. I like the landscapes of your country. As Gayle, I could not have identified a dike on the photo. Really very different from our Canadian beaver's dams :-)) You know? I do not want to upset you, but I think that the color of the framing a little too strong. See you tomorrow

Hoi John; een plek om verkering te hebben en stiekem te vertoeven in het bosje tussen de 2 hekken. Mierenkriebel in het gras en de zachte lucht van koeienpoep. Romantisch dus.
Dank je wel.

Hello John...
A pleasant subject! Simple but beautiful, format fits the subject... Good colours and details!
Regards,
Pablo -

Beautiful landscape with a complimenting frame. Are you happy with the camera and the lens?

Hi John,

Wow!! It seems that you have beautiful places there in Holland! Maybe I should visit you... :)
Amazing colours! The sky looks perfect! And the frame enhances your photo! Great natural light!
Very well done!!!

Hi John,
Holland is so beautiful, especially when you present it to us. This is a great composition again with your usual great colors and sharpness.
I'm looking forward to see tomorrow picture.
Warmest regards my friend.

I like the colours of your sky Tohn, as it changes tones from light to darker. Not too keen on the frame though. But I know you like these large frames and nothing I say will make you change your mind. MEN!!

I thought you would be do it a little easier, Grandpa (lol), but post the last three days a picture.
It could be a bit sharper, but what a hag. Nice.

Best regards,

Don

Good grief Tohn, the critics are out in force today :). Well I like it. Another view of Holland and something I didn't know, I thought all your polders would have been on the same level. Good colours John without a T. Sharpening may have brought out graininess which we don't want. I would however have preferred to have seen a smaller picture such as this with a smaller frame maybe. Well done anyway John and thanks for sharing.
