I read your title and thought it's too cold for the sailing today. But now I see. Well my friend, tomorrow my group heads back to the states, the work is almost complete. It has been a blast to be in the UK, I may be back in June sometime.....

a wonderful hobby - sailing.
We don't have so much places here around for sailing, the next is the Bodensee but you need a special licence here we don't have.
Some years ago we were sailing in Holland, this was wonderful. Thanks for sharing this beautiful shot, bye

What an odd frame! I like it, I think. Sailboats are always so pretty, but seems that everytime I've been on one, I've gotten in some kind of trouble. I'm not a very good first mate! The captain always yelled at me eventually, for yeeing when I should have yawed, etc. ! :)))

Boats I can't resist, specially not in combination with Dutch flags.
What I like is the nice light in the sail.
Yes and the frame... It is better then your heavy black ones. It makes the pictures more friendly.
I am not sure if ending the frame in the picture is not influensing the scene too much.

Lovely composition and interesting frame, still not sure how you guys manage this, but it looks good. Whites maybe slightly washed out on the left sail but it is difficult for the camera to get that correct with so many different shades AROUND
