Again back in Delft ..2 1/2 weeks ago ..foto made on a nice warm October day.

* Colours a little stronger
* A little extra contrast
* Clarify : 2

Than I like to underline a few photo's of TL friends that might be nice for you to look at..
if you maybe have missed them....

Sir John,
WOW-- A wonderful compo, love the bright colors, the tower, and the weeping willow. Where is Rumplestelskin ?
TFS Julie

Hi John

Not bad at all. I like the framing and the colors. I think a more sharpness would be better because it's a bit blurry.

Very cool! Love the color and details. The cloudy sky is nice as well, it seems to add a little extra oomph. TFS

Hello John,
I think this is pretty abnormal how the weather is all mixed-up these times. Anyway, we are not here to discuss about global warming :) This is a very good composition with excellent colors, POV and DOF. I really like this vertical composition. I wish I can visit this part of the world someday. Well done and TFS,
Claudine

Hi John,
October in Delft, the willow is still green, but it's the church-tower with its old bricks which has the autumn colors. Very interesting! Very good composition with cloudy sky and tight crop one this tower. Alive and crispy photo! Bravo! Annie

hello my friend
you are presenting impressive and great architectural buildings from Netherlands again. i like point of view, using of light and wide angle lens, colours and details in your photo
regards

One of the things I truly love about your photos is that you bring me outdoors in the way I love to get outdoors. The pov's are always filled with postive enegery. I love that you include so much brickwork into your photos too...the kinds of angles you include allow me to see the world very pleasantly.
I just read your notes on intro page... sorry i had only read the first few lines before but I took the time this time and read it all. I really think the advice and suggestions you have made show you to be a wise, fair and discerning critic. I welcome your views any time John Tulip.

At least, I can see a bit of 'Delfts Blue'.
It suits the picture very well, John.
Jan

Joos

Hi John, Thank you very much for everything.

What I liked in this picture is the composition of the tower with the whipping willow tree. Contrast colors add more beauty to this picture. TFS, Vandana

Thanks for the plug John! This photo makes me think of REPUNZEL!! REPUNZEL!! Let your hair down!!...This is a perfect castle for her to hang her long blonde hair down so her lover can climb up to her!
Nice Shot!

Hi John...Nice composition and colour...but to me it looks a bit blurry..cold be sharper and I am wondering why your ISO is so high at 800 ? any reason for that ?

Are you using AV ?
Appreciate your answer.. only way for people to learn.

Cheers Dawn

Very nicely composed. Beautiful colours.

Hi John,
I think its so amazing that they could build right on the water... The colors are amazing...
and is that a weeping willow tree? (or I think that is what we call it here!)
I will take a look into the photos you pointed out!
TFS,
Tricia

Hi John

Good tonal range in the cloudy sky, with effective tight framing & superb colour. Tfs!

Hi John!

Another postcard quality photo! I like how you included the tree to frame the tower! Great colours & contrast!

And thanks for enjoying my photos too!(^_^)
Well done & TFS

Lovely shot, dear friend John! Delft is a picturesque place and has lovely subjects and through your nice work we enjoy them too!
Well done!
Greetings from Athens,

More Delft :). Well composed John my friend. Lovely colours in the bricks and the willow sets it all off nicely. Just as a matter of interest fiddle with digital camera noise removal (settings for this around 20 with blend 70) instead of clarify, let me know what the difference is please. TFS,
Dave

Already I have blown my points quota ... I shall return...and I did.

Hi John,
Very nicely compo. Beautiful colours.
Congratulations!!!
Cordial Greetings,
Deniz.

If there is a presidential election on TL, you can propose your self. I'm sure you will be the winner.

Hi bro, nice image of Delft here again on the tall tower flanked by the willow. Nice vertical format to enhance the long tower.

I like the weathered bricks.

Well done! sis :)

ps: many thx for your crit on "Country Scenes". It's very appreciated.

Hallo John,

Prachtige inzending.
Hans

i like it.

Hello Netherlands,
hello my friend John

Beautiful look of this picture, taste of the details, I like that everything because I travel the whole world without leaving my house knowing the beauties of this world. The weeping willow is my favorite one here.
Wonderful

Sérgio

The angle give a terrific perspective! We are so small! :) The game with the colors you did is a good idea!
I like the contrast of building and tree!
