Statue of Hugo Grotius
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the statue of Hugo Grotius on the market square in front of the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) in Delft.
Hugo Grotius was born here in Delft and laid the foundations for international law, based on natural law. He was also a philosopher, Christian apologist, playwright, and poet.
One of the few days here with clear skies which is nice, but unfortunately creates some harsher light than the usual cloudy days. Post processing done was some slight sharpening and also some slight lightening of the shadows. |
