The weather in Delft was really nice today, with clear skies and sunny weather. A welcome change from the normal gloom and especially welcome for photography.
Harsh shadows are always part of sunny weather. This was taken late afternoon. I went to the top of the tower of the New Church (Nieuwe Kerk) in the town centre. This was taken from the top down to the square.
The long shadows looked interesting along with the pattern of the brickwork paving. Cropped slightly, enhanced contrast, sharpened a tad. |

Bonjour,
Angle de vue inhabituel.
Bonne journée.

wonderful photo, Johan!
Composition, texture, colours, shadows and point of view are so nice! (maybe, if I should say something wrong, a little out of focus...)
I have been one whole year in Delft and I can remember that bench in front of the church, and the time I spent sat on it.
Thank you for let me remember those sweet memories!
ciao
Dario
Hi there!
Amazing POV. Very very interesting...
Good composition too, with just enough details in the pic to keep your attention.
Well done!
Hello Johan.
Beautifull shot with very strong color. The son and the stones are make a good composition.
