[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Mekelweg, the main road running through the Technical University Delft. It was recently closed of to vehicle traffic and now only carries bicycles and pedestrians.

After a unusually warm winter and a looong wait it cooled down and started snowing today. At last! Did'nt come down much at first, but this afternoon it snowed quite a bit. Not too much compared to some other parts of the world, but enough to give everything a nice white coating.

Nice perspective under the snow. Today, The Hague is under the snow also... I fond the dutch people is quite brave to bike under such condition. Maybe they have no choice as wall :-)

Moody but peaceful image (to me). I like the perspective and the lines driving the composition, and of course, the gray wintry tones.

One would think that this type of shot would be depressing, but somehow it's not! I think the people in the shot make the difference.
Good composition with the trees and the lights and the buildings in the background.
