[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Seems like the whole of Europe had some snow today! We had some snow earlier this week, but today we had enough to make everything properly white.

Here is a quick glance down the pathway running past my building, before it got ruined by all the pedestrians and bicycles. Unfortunately the snow didn't last long anyway, melting once it actually stopped snowing. Oh, well!

Hi Johan, snowed all day where i live, good photo opportunities. i like the POV of this and the way it shows that simple scenes can be transformed into great photos with just a bit of snow. :)

you too are "chasing" the snow...
you are not the only one, here in Belgium is the same thing, not that much....

you got lucky there ;)
nice pic

Hi Johan,
How I envy you and your snow photo! It snowed for the first (and knowing my luck also last) time in ages, and where was I all day? my office! I didn't get a single photo!

Anyways, great use of perpective here. I love all the leading lines. Don't know what that orange thing is (a sign?) but it makes a good focal point as it's bright and it's where all the lines converge. It also draws attention to the peaople.
Well done,
Jako

No hay duda que los paisajes invernales son maravillosos y este es un muy buen ejemplo de uno de ellos.
Me encanta el entrelazado en oscuro de las ramas de los árboles que sobre salen contra el blanco de la nieve y la perspectiva.
Felicitaciones Johan.
Saludos.

Hello Johan
no snow here in Poitou-Charente (France). It is my weather information of the day ;-)).

I find perceptive your photograph, superb with this red point of a panel where the eye is attracted, cheer. The color of snow and the landscape are excellent and I love much these characters who animate photography.

Well done, TFS

Hi Johan,
Welcome to Holland where snow normally lasts a few hours before getting dirty. You had the chance to make a picture. Love what you recorded.
Coming from South Africa it must be nice to see Holland in a fresh perspective.
Regards
Els

I`ve never seen snow in my life...and..this picture is kinda ...envy to me , hihihi

Hi Johan,

Beautiful scenery and a wonderful postcard, I like aligned whole trees covered by the snow, until it seems that it was put in them. detail is good and a very nice winter photo.
Congratulations
