Au vandale !

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I had been siting in a café, facing this showroom, when I suddenly realised that there was something funny.
The name of the brand on the shop, Van Dale, is close from another word, in french, vandale, and in English, vandal, which refers to a german tribe from eastern europe who invaded and devastated western europe, spain and nothern africa in the early Vth century.
In French, it is nowadays used to refer to someone who unlawfully deteriorates public facilities... a hooligan, in a certain way...
The story does not tell whether the graffiti came first, or whether the shop keeper had been calling for it in the first place :P

Hi Arnaud
How nice it is! Well done and well seen. Your comment about this photo is perfect.
Thanks for sharing & have a good continuation.
Saman
Bien vu Arnaud !
Robert
