Inside the Nieuwe Kerk
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the inside of the Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), in Delft, looking towards the entrance from the back.
This church is where the first member of the house of Orange-Nassau, William the Silent (William of Orange) lies buried. Since 1584 all members of the Dutch Royal family are buried here.
In the foreground is the heavy slab covering the entrance to the catacombs where the members of the Royal family lies.
Adjusted the highlights slightly, added a bit of saturation and sharpened. |

Muy buen control de la luz y lo mejor la composición.
El gran ángulo es espectacular.
Felicitaciones johan.
Saludos.
Hi there!
It is always difficult to get these indoor church shots just right, but I think you have done a wonderful job.
The shutter speed is just about perfect, with great light coming through the windows. Your POV also adds to the shot, and the composition is good - the addition of the tomb entrance in the foreground is nice.
Well done!
You have captured the feeling one gets when you are inside this church very well. The angle of the photo is just right. Well done!
