You are so right Janneke about friendship, it is a precious jewel and 'your day of friendship' is a very nice idea!

Very beautiful photo Janneke, I love the colours and I think you have done a great job of the composition...which can be a bit difficult taking boats like this.

Well... honestly imho it's not so good shot... Looks like the boats are the primary subject, but they are displaced in a messy, random way - the photo makes impression of being a casual shot along the pier... Very nice, clear reflections of them in the water with really nice drammatic sky can't balance the shot. I think that if you'd chosen another angle - to have the masts and the poles in series (you'd have to shot almost parallel with the pier), you'd get much stronger photo, with good lead-ins and with atmosphere of crowded port. With that crispness you presented, lots of details this would be an excellent shot.

Hi Janneke, no matter where you stood to take this shot the masts would not have lined up. Different yachts have different masts, some straight and some curved. I like the composition, tyhe colours are good, lovely reflections and fine detail. TFS,
