This litle guy was just enjoying the afternoon sun and looking at the visitors of the zoo walk by. It is amazing how loud they are. The king indeed.

Great shot Pedro, nice light, colours and sharpness. You have done well, I see no bars.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice series you are presenting on your visit to the zoo, Pedro. Very nicely composed with great sharpness & colours with a very nice light as well. Good DOF to blur the background just the right amount. Well done!

Hi Pedro,
Very well capture this lion with a great sharpness and superb colors. TFS
Luc

He certainly looks very intimidating. Very well captured, particularly the lighting which adds to his character a bit. I like how the background is out of focus and has the same earthy colours as the lion.

Yes! I just want a little smile just to be shure you are happy and don't want to eat anybody.
I enjoy the expression a lot! It's taken in a decorum who look very natural!

Hi Pedro.

Majestic beast....you have capture him by camera very well. So good to see these beasts alive and well.

Wonderful capture Pedro. It does not look like it was shot at the zoo. Good play with light and DOF. National Geographic material you know. Congratulations!

I think this is all these male lions do at zoos, lie there, sleep or look at people. And wait for food to be brought to them!
Good capture Pedro. The sunlight looks good on him, and he's nice and sharp. Well done
Janice

Very good capture, just too much shadow on the right of his face and the lawn is a dead give away that it is a ZOO shot, but you are not pretending otherwise anyway, looks like you had a fruitful day at the zoo

jaco

great shot, detail and compo, no iron bars , blurred background great. love his look and the lighting
Christine.

Olá Pedro,
Esta série de animais está uma maravilha... mas esta do leão para mim é a mais sedutora... será por ser do Sporting?... lol.
Um abraço,
Victor
