[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I bought a new tea pot. It is a nice and shiny one. It also has good isolation. Now enough about the teapot. I am trying to figure out how to work with layers. With this photo, I turned it in b/w and played with the levels to get the silverish look. I then use some colors from the orignal and copied these into the b/w version.

I have also loaded the left over version as a workshop.

Tell me what you think and what I should do better/different.

Hi Niek,
wonderful work, I love the result - and nice to see you inside the pot - I hope it wasn't too hot ;-) Very creative, thanks
Sabine - wishnugaruda

the two version are good, different put good : )
It is always fun to do reflected self portrait and you do it well!

Niek,
Great composition and post processing work. I like the use of terra cotta to add color back to the photo. Something that might be cool (feel free to have a go at it) would be to get the shot and hide the camera from view so it looks like an Escher drawing.
Keep shooting and playing!
Aaron

EEN HEEL MERWAARDIG RESULTAAT !
Het werken met "layers" ben ik nog niet machtig

exelland creation and perfect idea!!!!!!the colors choose is splendit here!!!RGRDS Nikiforos

Very good effect and a nice photo as a result. It must have been difficult to cut and paste the colours. I think there isi an easier way to do that by making a copy of the photo as another layer in your software and then using the eraser tool to rub away the top layer to the coloured layer underneath. It is usually available in Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements, even Corel Photo program. Anyone that supports the use of layers.
Very good effort for excellent result.
Thanks for visiting my photos.
Cheers
Joan

In my gallery you can see me in my teapot!
I haven't done much PP work on it. I'll search it for you. From this two I prefere the "original version"
