Hello Yarema,
Your narrow DOF actually makes this one quite funny..!
Focus on eyes only and the rest of the guy more or less blurry gives a weird impression, but still I can see his smile...!

This is one great close up!
The way the photo is focused on the eyes, and the fact that the donkey is staring back makes for a really...errr... affectionate portrait...
The way the foremost part of the donkey is more or less in focus is in great contrast to the blurred background. Had only the hindpart been a little(just a tiny bit) more in focus it would be even greater!

Interesting choice of DOF. I would completely crop off right ear to make the composition less centered. Try to shoot at a more favorable light. Right now you have a lot of overexposed patches on its fur.

Very cute shot! Pity the nose is out of focus, but I guess the animal walked too close to the camera. Very funny indeed.
