[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This couple is left standing alone near the train station lost to the elements and vandalism. Some how they do seem to be of purpose as an organ donor for others. Many other of their age are treated this way and some end up on what some consider the be an elderly home others just call it the junkyard. I feel sorry for this friendly couple, because with some help they might still be young enough for another spin or two.

PP talk: crop, lots of contrast, saturations and highlights. Also added some noise and put a little frame around them

Amazing they still seem to have a lock on them. simply forgotten...so sad! Maybe the owners left them behind fending for themselves hoping someone would take them in and care for them!

Good documentary!
Very similar to my place, where also stolen bicycles turn up when the snow disappears...
And nowadays BCs are so cheap they are hardly worth repair unless they were expensive in the first place...

Hi Niek - quite some pathos around bicycles this time :-( Good choice of 'a couple' - 'Organ donor' is a disturbing description but then I suppose so is the condition of these two poor bikes.
