...But just missed some on the top and bottom. SO I almost nailed it, but just had too many difficulties with the strange angles. I was actually on a TrekNature mission when I ended up in this little town called Goor. There is this very modern office building with very strange architecture (read great opportunities for TL freaks) for which I just needed to pull over and explore. I made severall shots and this is the fist I will post.

PP talk: contrast, saturation, USM and frame.

Back to the frame. Tried a crop, but lost some at the bottom so I just left it as it is. I might go back for an other try to get the perfect frame.

Een beetje Gaudi; mooie gepuzzelde randen; inderdaad als een frame; of ook een rondliggende slang. Goor putje ;)

Hi Niek,
you right this is very interesting and strange architechture. On first glance I thought I'm looking at a swimmingpool with a rather large drain hole *g*.
Looking forward to the rest of town.
Sky

kind of looks like a guitar from this perspective...without the fret neck and strings!

i like the vibrant colours, the different textures and how they all come together to form this!
keep it up niek!

Hi Niek,
Mooi in kleur en vorm
Zit nog een beetje 3d in
Anders zou het een abstract worden (natuurlijk ook door het groen in voorgrond)

Hi Niek,
Interesting patterns and good colours too!
Agree about cutting in the top... beauty reduction! Hehehehe...
Looks like some mosaic there, so I guess the whole wall/ building is kinda artwork then
Well composed!
Greetings,
Pablo -

hi niek,
whoa, whoa. perfect indeed! it looked like a pool or...
nice colors and composition. the plant below is somewhat distracting though and must be cloned out. :) tfs.

Great arctitectural element! Your close-up shot creates eyepleasuring composition. Colorful and nice work! I like to see ivy brances at bottom!

Hi Niek,

Not almost... is a perfect frame, very nice, not missed nothing, is an open frame. Well observed and well captured with nice colours.

regards,

ferran

And it looks like a hole on a miniature golf course to me! :)) Lovely mosaics used here - I think of the patience required to put something like this together.

Gayle :)

Hi Niek,
Lovely colours and regardless of the fact that you say you missed the perfect frame it is still well done. Excellent detail and sharpness. TFS,
David

Hello Niek, is very similar to a Gaudi work:) I like the surrealistic aspect of your work:) Thanks!

Hi Niek,
Yeah, you are right. This one is very strange building (the first time i see something like this ;D)
Under your creative idea, it looked like afstract painting. Very good job, my friend.
I like it,
Bravo,
BebU

Hi Niek,
This is an excellent shot of an organic architecture building. Very easy for a photographer to get an interesting shot: you just let the building show its shape for some movement in the picture.

But I agree: difficult to make the right compo. I actually like the fact that you didn't catch the top, makes me realize that there's more to the building.

I think you did a great job here! If you want to do more of this: visit the museum for figurative art in Eelde. You will find the same shapes and also the same problems shooting! ;)
Have fun.

Darlene
