[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello!
This shot was taken in Amsterdam along Prinsengracht.
I have choosen to turn in B/W to add mood and to solve the problem of the sun just in front of the camera.
There are at least 4 persons in the photo. Do you see all of them?
Amsterdam is a wonderful city full of contrasts. I think it is also a romantic place.
in PP: cropping, resizing, turning in B/W, adding a frame

I think this one works very well in black and white, the composition and content lends itself to this format. Nice photo!

HI,
its beautiful, quiet shot. Has some kind of a warm and relaxing feeling. I've never expected that from Amsterdam... ;)

Btw, I can clearly see six persons, maybe seven but thats on you to check in a higher resolution shot, if you're really interested in it...

And from the tech side, good choice of b&w here, don’t know for the color version, but b&w feels kind of perfect here, maybe because of the old buildings on left.

Hi Francesco,
Great B&W image of Amsterdam. I like the mood you create with this one. I have not seen much of your work lately, and it is nice to see them again.
Sunil

Hi Francesco,

Wonderful POV and a wise move converting to BW. Lovely lines and diagonals and the patterning of the paving bricks adding some extra texture. TFS

Another very good B&W work against the sun. Very good compo.
The more I like here is the efect of the sun light filtered by the leaves of the trees and the perspective of the street.
Regards.
Jacobo

Ciao Francesco,

I recognized Amsterdam from the thumbnail, the city I was born.
B&W from the canals works realy well as it has an old look to it already. The blown out parts are a pitty and it is easier to take this into account while taking the picture than to deal with it in PP.

TFS,
Pedro

Bellissima prospettiva, Francesco.
Mi viene voglia di passeggiare in questa via, forse per la sensazione di tranquillità che trassmette.

Hi Francesco,
very good perspective. I like the combination of the bright light with the B/W technology.
