Hi Rob,
This is a very nice photo to offer to John, We will take care of him while he will be with us. I like this photo and the framing but I find it just a little bit too dark on the left side. Otherwise very well done.

Nice framing. The best form of gift a friend could give to his buddy is a tribute through photograph, well aside from a new camera. JK! I think the photo is just too dark for my taste and lacks sharpness but that's only my opinion. TFS! - Rossel

This is very nice Rob. The photo is very sharp, the sky so blue and the way that you tilted the image in the frame and to make the sail go into the frame is very clever, I am still not able :)

This is such a clever and eye-appealing composition as a whole (I know I am very late in the game -- just saw it for the first time).
Having been an a sailing boat for the first time, I can say that the crooked horizon is most appropriate here even though the gentle waves don't quite justify it(^_^). The colours are very hot and perfect for here. Great POV (like we're in the action. All in all:praiseworthy.

Its a great photo, love the bright photo with the sailboat and what a neat idea to angle it and have it come "out of the box" a famous JohnT techique..maybe we should start just saying I have this photo and I think I'll "JohnT" it...:o)
