Nice one as well. The cracks create a nice texture. I can just imagine a little creature popping out of one of the holes. Should make a nice house for a furry animal.

Hi Rob,
Good framing for this shot, however the tree is not centered horizontally (left space greater than right space).

Great shot of the tree trunk. I have a similar photo in my gallery. Good strong textures & balanced lighting. It's interesting what we find in the park at times.

Surprised to see no birds have occupied the hole in the stump, but maybe they consider it to be too close to the ground...

Het lijkt wel of die stomp door mijn screen komt zetten - dat betekent dus een goede POV.
Bedankt voor je commentaar op mijn stukje walvis - de enige manier om mijn eigen kijk op de zaken via de ogen van een ander te zien en vervolgens erover na te denken.
