In my town, Zoetermeer, suburb of The Hague we have many parks and its fantastic and relaxing to walk there what I often do with wife Patricia and daughter Demi.

Sunday July 16 I spotted this odd looking tree stump..and this is the second photo of this subject.(First was posted 2 photo's back in here)

Bye and thanks for looking
Rob

Hi Rob,
onteresting Motives that you find. Well captured, interesting details and good POV
Sky

Nice one as well. The cracks create a nice texture. I can just imagine a little creature popping out of one of the holes. Should make a nice house for a furry animal.

Hi Rob,
Good framing for this shot, however the tree is not centered horizontally (left space greater than right space).
Well done for the POV and details on the tree.
Regards.
Fred

Zoetermeer isn't it?
Dan moet het 'Zoethout' zijn.
Vandaar dat gat. Is er al uit gegeten.
Groeten, Jan

Hi Rob,

Great shot of the tree trunk. I have a similar photo in my gallery. Good strong textures & balanced lighting. It's interesting what we find in the park at times.

Well done

Hi Rob, you and Cons are great tree lovers :) I should post some too, I have photos of logs that I haven't posted yet! There isn't enough days in a year for me to do so. Only one photo a day on TL :)

Very interesting and special subject you caught here. And it looks to me like a submarine's periscope lol!

Take care and thx for your crit on "In my Thoughts". Yan

Zoetermeer?? hahaha ... daar kom ik nog weleens... soms.. af en toe... ;-) in De Boerderij.....

Afijn..we hebben het nu over foto's: Geweldig plaatje dit, de diepte die erin zit, de kleuren, de scherpte! TOP.

Great picture Rob. Depth, color, sharpness... TOPS!!

Cheers,
Anneke

Very creative shot Rob, good POV and detail.
Regards Mark

Hello Rob,
Good details in this original motif!
Surprised to see no birds have occupied the hole in the stump, but maybe they consider it to be too close to the ground...
Well framed, and the natural colour of age!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Rob,
