Hi John,
Superb photo,
I like the conflictual mood in it, with the serenity of the flowers, with the hardness of the barbedwire, that remember us the war and conflict. The composition is excellent with the diagonal, the DOF, the colors, ....
Very well done my friend.

Hi John

A wonderful juxtapositioning of sharp barbed wire, & soft downy thistle flowers. Well seen!

What a lovely composition, bringing two opposites together and showing the gentle thristel dominating the cold lifeless wire. Great lighting and detail.
Great metaphor my friend.
Greetings,
Vassilis

Good diagonal John and its nicely close!
Soft colors and metaphor make it more complete.
Mooi ! De mazzel,
Rob

CU morgen en not to short ok? :-)

WOW! I love the colored barbed wire! The only kind of barbed wire we have here in texas is the RUSTY kind! Love the colors!

hi john
beautiful composition and strong expression with your note. blured BG, POV, colours, details (especially on feathery surface) and frame are great.
tfs

Good job choosing the diagonal point of view John it works well here and depth of field is spot on

Ok... But if you observ corectly... The plant have it's weapons too. We see it easily with attention... In 10 years... It will be different... The fence will be rusted and less solid... That plant with seeds will have renew it's defense.
This conflict with the nature is not good for us actually! You have a good symbolic here! It's nice too!

Hi My Dear John,
Good composition and shot. Good colours, sharpnes, light and POV.
Well done ,Best Regards Deniz.

A powerful message, John. Do you think we could send it to the Israelis and Palestinians and get them to listen? Technically a perfect shot -- metaphorically, even more so. TFS
Silke (a lady torn in two by conflict between her friends)

A superb capture along with a powerful message. Natural light bring out the best in colour. Well done.

Hi John,

This is an excellent catch! The photo & notes is a perfect match! Great POV with vivid colours! The DOF is just perfect! The diagonal barbed wire is a very strong feature!

Very well done
Constantinos

Beautiful.
Soft and hard alltogether.
TFS.

Excellent shot, nice background colors. To see the beauty in thistles when there are what seems to be beautiful flowers all around proves that you have a very good eye. Great detail in the seed heads and the wire cutting across diagonally, setting up a quiet tension and contrast to the downy appearance of the heads.
Cheers
Otto

I like this the contrast between barbwire and flower is wonderful.

Interesting John... coloured barbed wire that is, ours is all galvanised or old and rusty. Nasty stuff, I have just finished removing some from the back fence. Well seen and captured John, nice diagonal formed by the wire. TFS,
David

Hi John

Nature V Man
Soft V Rough
Beautiful V Ugly

Very effective visual message

Hi dear bro! this is very nice and soft (the colours) and prickly (the wire) :) The flower is very sharp.

Yes, opposites always mingle in life.

Very well done with the blur and the speculars.

Take care, sis :)

p.s. I am very happy that you like the colour portrait of Ben :)

Hi John,
super caught. very good close taken and details. clear and simple composition. congratulations. Take care. Burak

Excellent metaphor. Well seen. The contrast between the wire and flower is strong. But then the flower is more flexible and it might bend and move and save itself. The wire will just rust away because it has never learnt to be flexible. A little bit of crazy philosophy for a Sunday night.

Be well
Annette

Hi John,

Very nice shot my friend! Well spotted. It just proves that nature and man can "almost" get along together. Maybe a disagreement will take place every so often, as your picture shows here.

You should have cut the wire so that nature could progress... Oooooh NO (just kidding) the wire probably prevents loads of sheep escaping :) LOL

Great shot and metaphor mate.

Good Pov and DOF! Sharp détails on the barbed wire and flower. Very nicely done! Annie

Very artistic composition my friend.A barb wire going across the picture. You just opened my eyes wider:)Congrats.

Like I have read before,

From Space there are no boundaries visible, that is why the planet looks so good. Bounderies are sources of conflicts.
Too bad.

For sure , nature does not care about boundaries! So should we.

Great shot John!
