Just some fun with the white balance, levels, curves and masking.

This lake, which is more a pond is situated on top of a hill at 32 meters height. The water cannot run away because at the bottom of this pond a iron pan is stopping the water from running away. Trees that get too close to the shore are causing the water to run away. A lot of effort is put in a project to protect this natural wonder by removing these trees.
Near the pond, you will find a memorial indicating the path that lead to Camp Erika. A prison camp from the WWII.

Interesting experiment, Niek, maybe a tad too dark in the foreground on the right as we lose the details and I am not certain but I think there might be a slight tilt to the right. Otherwise, I really like the cloudscape over the lake; very dramatic. Well done!

Schitterende foto wat een mysterieuze sfeer heeft...I speel eigenlijk nooit met levels. Maar je kunt er mooie dingen mee doen zoals nu...

This is a very successful experiment. Very dramatic sky and nice silhouettes

I personally think this was a night shot but you just forgot to set your camera clock and you are now just trying to cover this up ;)

Hoi Niek,
Mooie dramatische foto, geweldige sepia kleuren. De weerspiegeling in het vennetje is nog net te zien, maakt het lekker spannend! Frame had m.i iest anders gekund misschien zelfs wel helemaal geen frame, maar dat is een persoonlijke keuze.

great composition with a very dramatic light and mood. I love the sepia colors on this shot. Great POV with excellent silhouettes and textures.

Mooi gedaan!! Leuk om er met PS zo'n spannend plaatje van te maken. Kan je het origineel nog een keer plaatsen, of is dat juist het geheim van de smit ;)?
Ik vind dat je het juiste kleur'enhancement' hebt gebruikt. Heel leuk.
