Today I got the best news!!
The lump in my neck wasn't that bad as we all thought! It is a bleeding in my thyroid gland.
I couldn't breathe as I used to be and the lump was very painful.
But the worst is over...
My worst feelings are now covered with relief!!!

After a few days in the hospital I am home and we selebrate it with this photo.....

Covered with snow... The rails is still there, but its not so dark anymore. It's covered with white snow and it looks much lighter..

Thats how I feel today!! The lump is still there, the pain is still there, but the relief made it lighter!!

Thanks for reading my note!

Greetings Janneke

Hoi Janneke,
Ben blij voor je, grote opluchting dus. Je viert je opluchting met een prachtige winterse opname. Vooral de voorgrond met de besneeuwde railing is prachtig. Erg goed gedaan.
Wens je vanuit Haarlem het beste.
Hans

Hey,
The photo itself is really nice and relaxing... But the fact that you're not feeling the best possible brings a frown... :(

I love your note about the snow and light... The road is long, and winding perhaps, but at least it's light:)
Especially with such Versace rails!!

Great photo and get well soon!

Cheers,
Nune

Hello Jan :)
Nice snowy photo with the rails disappearing behind the trees!
I was surprised to see how much snow you have in the Netherlands then I saw it was made a year ago! :)))
Get well soon!
cheers

Congratulations - on a good prognosis, and a beautiful photograph.
As we finally claw our way into summer in the southern hemisphere I will spare a thought for the colder north. ;)

Excellent compo and POV. Very good.

Hi Jan,
So sorry to hear that you have not been well. I wish you a very speedy recovery and I'm glad your news has provided you with some relief.

Thanks for posting this lovely image. I was suprised that you have this mauch snow, then I saw the date of your photo! There isn't much snow throughout Europe at the moment. I spoke to my friend in Morzine today and they are really worried as they havn't had the normal base of snow and are worried for the ski season.

Great image, TFS, take care and get well soon,
John

Hi Janneke, great POV and exposure, I bet you were cold taking this one! Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery,
TFS, Neil.

Hi Jan!
Hope you are feeling much better by now...
This is an extremely pretty winter scene. Good POV, and even though I don't like the cold, it nice to look at for a while.
