[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had never made a good photo of the moon, althought I often tried.
This night there were many clouds and I used a tripod.
This time I think I made a good one....

So please give me your critics, so I can learn!

He Nick,

Mooie foto jongen. Volgende keer ook nog de takken scherp op de foto! De wolken geven de maan een mooie mysterieuze sfeer!
Gave titel.

HOLA NICK BIEN LOGRADOS LAS SOMBRAS LINDA POSTAL HAS LOGRADO OCN ESTA FOTO FELICIDADES

Hoi Nick,
OK, first at all it is a very good idea the moon and the clouds and is very hard to make a good picture of the moon without OE (over exposure) or unsharpness. You write in your note you used a tripod; very good nick, it's only possible to get a good moon shot with a steady camera! Nevertheless the moon is OE dI thnk due too long shutter time (I can't see the camera settings in your photo information)I can remember from myself that I made more than 100 shots before I had a acceptable moon. You can find examples here on TL of good and poor moon shots look also in the TL them page Moonshots.
Secondely, probaly because of the same long shutter time the branches are not sharp apperantly they moved by the wind. So what to do Nick. First don't remove the picture from TL, you are here to learn arn't you. Secondly make a lot of images when trying this kind of tricks. By the way, the clouds are gorgeous! Third it is well worthy to look at this nice view my friend! The frame is perfect and thats also a part of the picture, isn't it?
Hans

You will get your reward (points) but no more amo for today. :) Later...

Hi Nick,
Very nice composition, texture and colors. I like the silhouettes of the trees reaching out for the moon.

Hi Nick,
Very nice, quite mystic image. Little bit grainy here and there, but it has a special mood with the tree-silhouettes, which makes the photo an outstanding one. Congratulations, my young Friend! Keep Your work going. Regards from Hungary, László
