Neat idea, great note and I love the angle this is taken from - that makes the image for me and does let you feel as though you are in flight.
Lots of bits and pieces in the scene to catch you eye as well - good post.

Hello Hans,
Interesting point of view! Of course!
The details come through quite well, interesting colours partly because of windows I guess...
Composition works well, and the image tells the story with many interesting details!
Greetings,

A good aviation shot Hans! I take it that you were, at this point, "turning on short" to the localiser?
I like the tilt and I think that the detail is fine, despite what you say at the end of your note. The exposure and composition are fine too. I like all of your very informative note, and thank you for taking the time and effort to provide it.
Best wishes
Bill

hello Hans,
great picture. Your note is brilliant.
I think flying is cool. My uncle used to be a commercial pilot for West African Airways (he was one of the very first West African pilots - in the 1950s) and then later for Nigeria Airways. Nigeria Airways used the F27 and F28 aircrafts, I remember the F28 front door was also it's gangway ;-) I also travelled in the F27 a couple of times before. The overhead mounted wings meant the view out of all windows was stunning!
Your notes bring back some fond memories! ;-)
I've been in the cockpits (during flight) of a number of aircraft. In fact once, seating in the jumpseat behind the pilots for an entire flight (right from taxing through to take-off, landing and taxing to the terminal)in a BAC 1-11, a most memorable experience.
This was of course in the days before September 11th!
Anyway back to your picture. i think you captured the moment well.
Well done.
Best regards, Daniel
PS: As you seem to be keen on aircraft there is this site i think you might find interesting. It also has some really interesting aviation photots, and other bits ( www.vc10.net ) It's the site of a young Dutch pilot.
In fact you can imagine my delight when, on the same site, i discovered there an article that features my uncle! I'm so proud of him ;-)

Hallo Hans.
Groet Frans

WOW Hans
What an amazing air shot. The colors are so nice... Brave you taking shots in a plane not buckled in with eyes closed! ;)

Hi Hans, an original view, it seems to fly with you, interesting note, very well done, ciao Silvio
Hans,
Stll not totally over my jet lag this image almost made my head spin which makes it very effective. Very cool image because of the airport in the water. I thought Japan was crazy for putting the main airport so far from Tokyo (an hour and a half by bus) but this takes the cake.
Great POV here.

Hallo Hans.
Nice 'space'shot.
Even more better, I like your info.
My last 'Big' project, was the relocation of all the remaining parts of Stork Fokker Aerospace, to the Main Factory at Papendrecht.
It was an enormous but very interesting job.
My employer was Stork Wescon (for 38 years)

Ah so now I know, not only are you a photographer, your an aircraft mechanical technican (correct name for it ?)..hence the love of planes and airports etc etc..
Great photo, but as you say not the sharpest, but I like your composition, makes me feel im actually on the plane, just as the planes turning... and OH YES... I see Johnny Tulip..and hes waving to me... hehe...
Thanks for your interesting notes Hans...excellent as always..
Warmest wishes
Dawn.

Hi Hans
It really does feel like you are on the plane here. I don't usually like a slanted horizon but it really works here

Hello Hans,
Amazing POV... very intersting too. :P Wooo... they let you sit in there with the pilot? Man you are lucky... :D
Well.. let me see.. I will definatelly forgive you, but for what? hehehehe, the shot is great, even thought you might not think it is sharp, but I think it is as most of us know what is like to take a photo from within the windows of a plane. I would said this is excellent work my dear friend, plus your notes... just bonus... add more to my knowledge. :D Well done my dear, thanks for sharing
Cheers,
Sweety

Hello Hans!
If I do have good opportunities with ships. You are indeed very lucky to get so many opportinities with planes (^_^).
Not the best quality indeed, but airplanes windows are rarely
clear and clean (^_^) Too bad for us, travellers. Nevertheless, a great composition here, and once again a very informatve and useful note.
Bravo!

Hi Hans,
Beautiful aerial view, with a wide range of blue and green, sharp enough according to circumstances, congratulations!
