Hi Niek,

Great image, like the use of B&W it seems to give an extra coldness to the image. Like the compositional use of the tracks in the path and the runners footprints leading us off into the distance where they are heading.

This is a lovely winter scene with the two joggers running on the road leaving their footprints in the snow. I like the compostion and the perspective of this shot. Well done.

I understand your note that 'it's all about the photo', but with photography comes framing i.m.h.o. A good frame makes the picture even better, even this one ;).

Just a quick visit to see how things are going on TL. Very nicely captured, Niek, and the natural b&w created by the light & snow is very nice. I am wondering if it would have been better not to centre the men (both horizontal & vertical) but I am not certain...Well done!

On your way back home kom je wel door een prachtig gebied. Ze hadden iedereen sneeuwvrij moeten geven. Heleboel mensen waren eerder naar huis gegaan vanwege weeralarm.
Je hebt wat moois gecreeerd met deze kleurenfoto. (Zouden we nog sneeuw krijgen?)

Only one day of snow ? Boy , poor guys !!!! A winter without snow is so sad. Pretty cool composition and mood with these guys running away at slow speed (^_^)in this white environment.

Niek,
I like the portait style here. Aptly titled with well written notes, I think Nike would be interested in this because of the message of will and determination. The graphics are fine (I couldn't do better) and the composition here is superb. I keep looking into the distance, following the footprints to the people and looking into the background, wondering what awaits them! It's VERY effective in holding my interest!

Very good picture..Ilike the traces, the deep of the composition...The DOF, a very good with the fog in the end ..

Try further to put the title in the center of the border..In this case you put it a little to left...

This is a winner, Niek. Great details and exposure. I like the way a snowy day with clouds almost looks B&W.

Hello Niek,This is a wonderful photo. It has lots of mood and atmosphere. To begin with your B/W treatment works really well with this winter scene. I'm shivering already!! OK, it is out of season and my first reflex was to pass by, by the ambiance is really well capture, that monochrome colour (great to know it is in colours!) is well capture and beautifully composed. I love the say that the foot prints are aside the line probably create by the wheel of a bike. Could have been a photo by itself. TFS.
