| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Some 20 juvenile swans came together and they alerted a grown-up swan. He was defending his territory and tried to keep the young ones out. He attacked the juveniles, which fleed as one group each time, but they kept on returning during approximately an hour.
The juveniles then didn't return.
It was marvellous to watch this quarrel. No one was hurt, perhaps some missing some feathers.
Picture was take a year ago. The light measurement was not ok because the cirquit was broken.
I hope you like the picture |

Hi Paul,
Very impressive shot. The light trough the wings is very effective in order to emphatize the action. Nice is the effect of the water.
If I could give an advise to you, I'd suggest to crop the picture, cutting away the lower stripe (1/5 of the heighy) and maybe a small portion of the upper one (1/10 more or less). Then the photo would achive more action ond more focus on the swans, to me.
Dario
Revelation shot ,gratulation!

Excellent timing. Dark background strengthen the object (swan). Thank you for sharing the photo.
