[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This window was shot in the woods near Oirschot (a small town in our neigbourhood) at the chapel called "De Heilige eik" ("The holy oak" in English). It memorizes the second world war when there has been heavy fighting in the area. The chapel is still used by people for meditation and prayer. It is beautifully located in the middel of the woods far away from daily noise.
I corrected the perspective and adjusted the levels.

The theme colour of the window design and the colour of wall are in perfect match in giving a soleum atmosphere. I feel a sorrow for the dead and see the ugly face of the warmonger. Excellent capture of art.
