[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture of a lighthouse (Vuurtoren Hoek van 't IJ) I saw on the way to Volendam. It's not in use anymore. The lake where it was build at used to be a sea. The lighthouse (also because of the use of modern technology) is not a necessity anymore. It gives a nice view though and so I captured it.

I did some PP on this picture to make it look a bit better such as cropping, adding contrast and changing brightness. Also managed to give the sky a more blue color.

A realistic view of the Dutch landscape, I only think it's a shame that the lighthouse is placed in the middle. All else is fine... :-) Good work, xB.

A lovely scene my friend! Excellent composition, particulat due the rectangle dimentions. the lighthouse is a bit too much centred, but it's still a gorgeous view of the Dutch landscape. Job well done my friend!

So many people, so many opinions! I don't think the lighthouse to be too much in the centre. There are things in the front which are place OUT of the centre. I think the compo is allright. Else you would cut-off a part off the dijk-lichaam.

Hello Tjeerd,

Your view point if excellent in this image. Well balanced and propotionate horrizon is nicely taken. Fine details are adding more charm of fun where haze in the back ground is interesting. Well done my friend.
