[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This spider was waiting in my garden for his meal.
There was no name-tag on it, so I'm not sure that this is a tiger-spider. You see them very much over here.
Who knows its species ?

Great macro. The colours are nice and bright, but also work well together. I like the way the backlighting has highlighted the translucent areas of the spider. And if I use my active imagination I can see a face staring back at me. Putting the subject at the centre of the frame goes against the 'rules' but it works here - where else should a spider be but in the centre?

Hi joop, good photo, but I am afraid to the spiders, this one has an attractive color , good POV. TFS

Prachtige Macro..
Een stekelig diertje!

Hi Joop!!!
..Really he looks like the tiger..!!!!! unfortunately I don't know a lot about insects and I don't know which it is a kind.. ..interesting details and the pose!!
.."nice" view!!

Hi Joop,

Hi Joop

I love it - great shot. Stunning colours on this Garden Orb Weaver. I also love to see the light through the translucent legs of this insect. Nicely sharp and the web is nicely recorded as well - excellent DOF
