[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Photo was taken on the beach near our room during vacation.

This little bird.. (sorry no clue to its name.. help appreciated) was so busy running up and down the beach I had to snap a few photos... He was so quick and stayed near the waters edge....

I also found it funny how he was alone no mate or buddies...

Excellent capture. Good sharpness and details.
Good composition, the Bird has lots of room to move to :-).

Good afternoon

Sorry I cant type for giggling at Pierre's comment. I think he is correct though :-)

Anyway i also think this is an excellent capture I particularly like the colours and the brightness here. That water actually looks nice and warm to me too .

Hi Tricia
very nice comp in good colour.
Gr Jos

Tricia,
compo, colours, even the speed of the water comming, ..., all beautiful

But, " IMHO", you could it made it better
if you " add some light " ( brightness )
on the bird, or at least around his eyes.

No clue for his name ?
Let's call him ...
of course ;-)

Hi Tricia:
This really makes me smile...
that this little bird has this empty shore just for her and how he is walking, and you caught him just at the right time in action...
super details and your composition of giving him room to walk!!!!
Most excellent.

Hello Tricia,
what a lovely looking bird.
The sandy background really helps showing the bird off.
A nice composition with great colors and wonderful textures. Nice placing of the main subject, you left nice space for the bird to wander into.

Tricia, I did make a better effort than Pierre did to identify this bird LOL!!! The closest I could come is a Ruddy Turnstone, a member of the Scalopacidae family that includes sandpipers & snipes. Great photo TFS, sorry my ID is not as funny as Pierre's! :} Don

A fine composition, very artistic, great PP-art! Job well done.

Hi Tricia,

Belle image bien composée.
Marie

Excellent image Tricia,
composition is cleverly handled and I like the texture of the sand, colour and exposure.

Well done and have a great weekend.
Best regards, Daniel

Hi Tricia
Good shot of that Arenaria interpres, or Ruddy Turnstone. You were quite close to the bird. Since the photo was taken in May, the bird is moulting to its breeding plumage. By the end of June, it would have been more colorful with definite patterns. That's a nice photo but I think the light is a bit hard.
