[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's the day after the magnificent Dutch TL meeting in Utrecht. I have to say, I had a blast. It is just a lot of fun to meet a bunch of people that share the same addictions....Photography and TrekLens and go explore a city, drink, eat and laugh.

Just before we went for dinner, I saw the awesome Hans (GreenBaron) buy sunflowers. My first thought was that he was going to charm the ladies. But I got it wrong. Each of us received one. A very kind gesture from a wonderful person.

I, ofcourse, had to take a photo from the flower, so that it will be remembered for ever. Thank you Hans for the lovely gift, eventhough I had to give it away in the end.:)

Tech talk: Converted from RAW to JPEG. USM, frame, Resize and USM. No alterations to the color or BG.

** I am a little bit short on time today, so I am not able to give a lot of critique. I hope to find an empty spot tonight.**

Hi Niek,
Nice picture! Real nice compo, and good eye for detail (for example the waterdrops in the heart of the flower). The leaves of the flower could be a bit sharper on top. But overall: good picture!

Great capture of this beauty. I particularly like the way the petals seem to fade into the sky and foreground! The heart of the sunflower is crispy clear and sharp! A job nicely done!!

Hi Niek,
I could expect this, a perfect "nature" shot in Utrecht! Excellent the use of the DOF, sharp in the middle, more blurred to the edges and still a steady hand after a eventful day with 1/50 speed! You did a great job, and I like your note, there must be a writer in you as well :)

TFS and not only for this picture, also your contribution of the meet was greatly appreciated, your tips and advise were payless! Thanks my friend. We will meet soon in Tukkerland.

Hoi Niek,

Wat een leuk gebaar van Hans om jullie een zonnebloem te geven op de TL-meet. En je hebt er een prachtfoto van gemaakt, mooi helder van kleur en goeie details.
Mooie herinnering aan wat ik in je note lees, een geslaagde dag was!

Hi Niek,
Erg leuk om die bloem er op te zetten ! Die bloem heeft z'n eigen plek binnen het geheel van de dag, dus past het bij deze TLmeet.
De bloem staat er trouwens heftig geel op. Mooi om te zien.
